• Preschool Disabiltities Class

PSD is currently an afternoon program. It is designed like a typical preschool. The children start with some free play and bathroom time. Next, they have Circle Time and then some fine motor practice. The students practice writing their names daily. They also learn how to cut, string beads, lace, and glue. Preschool students also learn how to become more independent. They learn how to take off jackets and put them on, as well as how to button or zip. After their academic time, the students then have snack time. Weather permitting, the students get outside and then it is time to go home. The students have tremendous amounts of fun in this class and they learn how to be social and learn what is appropriate and inappropriate. It is great to see the students making such great improvements over the years. Preschool is a fun place to be.
