    Push-In Reading Support
This is for students in grades K - 6. Our instructional support teachers Mrs. Guido, Mrs. Potente and Mrs. Hanisak will be spending time in the classrooms during language arts and center times to help students in the classroom setting.  We assist students with reading, organization, and understanding classwork. For students who still require additional support, they may be refered to RTI for small group pull out to work more intensely with an instructional support teacher.

    Guided Reading (Fountas and Pinnell)
This is for students in K - 8. Guided Reading is a small group approach to teaching students to read based on their developmental needs rather than grade level curriculum expectations. Students are grouped based on their developmental level to ensure they are working to their fullest potential.

    Read Naturally Encore

This is for students in grades 3 - 8. Read Naturally Encore accelerates reading achievement by combining three research-based reading strategies for struggling readers—teacher modeling, repeated reading, and progress monitoring. A student works at his or her own pace in an appropriate level of material. The student works through the steps and masters a story by reading along with audio and then practicing the story until he or she can read it fluently and with comprehension. The student tracks his or her progress on a graph. Students become confident readers by developing fluency, phonics skills, comprehension, and vocabulary while reading nonfiction reading passages with questions. This time-tested intervention program engages students with interesting nonfiction stories and yields powerful results.

    Fast ForWord (Scientific Learning)

This is offered to students in 2nd grade who require additional reading support. Developed by neuroscientists, the evidence-based Fast ForWord reading intervention uses a unique 3-part model to directly target and fix the root causes of language and reading difficulty. It provides students with the foundational language and cognitive skills, deliberate practice, and guided reading support they need to make fast improvements, which continue even after they finish the program. The new Fast ForWord is a powerful solution for K-12 intervention, at-home intervention, or clinical support intervention.
