Here is a reminder list of what the PTO collects, redeems, and/or recycles, some for cash, some for charity, and some in the interest of “BEING GREEN” everyday:
Yogurt containers, stackable, all sizes (please wash them first)
Juice pouches (tops cut off and pouches rinsed)
Pop-tabs (all cans)
Snack bags (chips/popcorn/etc.)
Glue sticks and bottles
Plastic butter/margarine spread tubs
Ziploc type bags and containers
Scotch type tape dispensers and cores
Cheese packaging, including cream cheese spreads, but not cream cheese brick packaging or individual cheese slice wrappers
Cereal Bags, e.g. Malt-O-Meal (any brand, any size-NOT boxes or inner plastic lining found inside cereal boxes)
- Box Tops (General Mills, Ziploc, Kleenex, etc.)
Campbell's Labels (soup, Pepperidge Farm, etc.)
Tyson (box panels and bag tops)
Laser- and ink-jet cartridges
Hard plastic bottle caps (milk, water/soda bottles, shampoo)
Containers are in place to help remind students which items to recycle.

ShopRite Gift Cardsare available in $10's, $20's, and $50's. This is a dollar-for-dollar exchange that earns the PTO $50 for every $1,000 sold. Call Paula Waeschle, Marianne Weber, Beth Gavin, Lisa Strutin, or Paige Schmiedeke (at school) to make arrangements.
Shop and/or charge online through the Box Tops Marketplace. Visit www.boxtops4education.com, to shop or simply to register to be an Allamuchy School supporter. Enter the monthly no-purchase-necessary contests to earn bonus box tops.
Clothing Drive: Clean out closets and toy chests and donate usable clothing, linens, pocketbooks, belts, shoes, and stuffed toys (no hard goods, please). Save your donations in black trash bags for collection in early Spring.
