NJ Child Assault Prevention Project (CAP) is statewide child abuse prevention program. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for the children in New Jersey by reducing the level of interpersonal violence through assault prevention education. The approach to child abuse prevention is threefold including trainings for Staff in service, Parents Programs, and Individual Classroom workshops for children and teens.
NJ CAP will be in district in Spring 2020.
Parent meeting for information related to NJ CAP will be on March 19th, 2020 at Mountain Villa School.
NJ CAP will be presented in Grades 1, 3, 5, and 7. All parents are able to attend the meeting. The lessons will be held in the classrooms during the week of March 23rd, 2019.
